About

Tara’s Wellness Sanctuary is the culmination of years spent traveling across the United States as a photographer. During my journeys, I found myself drawn to unique Airbnbs and natural hot springs, with cherished visits to places like Harbin Hot Springs and Wilbur Hot Springs. These experiences fostered a deep appreciation for spaces that nurture wellness and connection.

During the pandemic, I had my first taste of being an Airbnb host, renting out rooms in my home to make ends meet. That chapter planted the seed for what would eventually grow into the Sanctuary. A few years later, with years of experience running Orange Photography, I was ready to launch another business with the the values reflects my passion for wellness and my desire to use business as a force for positive change.

The theme of the Sanctuary is deeply inspired by my Buddhist practice. Tara, a revered deity known for swiftly alleviating the suffering of sentient beings, serves as the inspiration for its name and purpose. While the design subtly reflects this influence, I chose to keep the iconography light, focusing instead on creating an atmosphere that promotes rejuvenation and serenity.

More importantly, Tara’s Wellness Sanctuary is committed to giving back. A portion of its proceeds will support local Buddhist centers, and I’m proud to offer discounts to teachers, first responders, and those walking the path of the bodhisattva. Lastly, I have sprinkle a few of my Buddhist inspired landscape photography that is also available for purchase in my print store
